Dr. Elhav Weinstein is an emphatic, extremely intelligent and experienced psychiatrist. Advanced, individual treatment combined with carefully considered medication management create an environment of trust and security. He helped me understand myself and cope with obstacles. Undoubtedly, I recommend him highly.

My aim is to provide the kind and thoughtful care from which I believe patients benefit most. As a Johns Hopkins/Columbia/UCSF/Cornell-trained, board-certified psychiatrist, I have specialized education in the pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment of a range of concerns, including:
• mood disorders (such as depression and bipolar disorder)
• anxiety disorders
• personality disorders
• attentional difficulties
• relationship and career impairments
• adjustment difficulties
• low self-esteem
In addition to my work in private practice, I am on the faculty of Weill Cornell Medicine and Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Beginning with a careful evaluation, we'll consider how I can be most helpful, working together to develop a personalized treatment that may include medications, talk therapy, or both. Out of respect for your time and to address any questions or concerns, I’ll contact you in advance of our first meeting to arrange for a brief phone conversation.

My visits to Dr. Weinstein have always been very pleasant and productive. I had a serious illness that is prone to relapses. Among the three psychiatrists that I have consulted over the past four year, Dr. Weinstein is unquestionably the best doctor. He is outstanding in therapy and psychopharmacology. He was able to quickly zero into the proper medication for my illness whenever I have a relapse, through telephone communications in addition to my regular sessions.
