About Dr. Eli Coria
After completing his undergraduate degree in bioengineering at Rice University, Dr. Eli Coria earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He completed his residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Coria, who is board certified in family medicine, sees patients of all ages and speaks Spanish. He treats a variety of chronic diseases, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes; as well as many acute conditions, including colds, allergies, skin lesions and minor injuries.
His primary clinical interests are preventive medicine and patient education. Dr. Coria teaches his patients what signs and symptoms to look for and things they can try to prevent, which enables them to understand and take control of their health.
Getting to know patients well and establishing a continuity of care allows him not only to treat everyday aches, pains and illnesses, but also to home in on aspects of prevention that will help people stay healthy. He wants his patients to feel comfortable with him and trust him, hoping that they leave each visit with a solid grasp of what is going on and what will happen next.
Dr. Coria is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Texas Academy of Family Physicians.
In his leisure time, he enjoys cross-country mountain biking and distance running, and he attempts to play golf.

Dr. Coria is THE BEST. He is so kind and friendly and takes his time with you. I was in for a routine physical today, and when he walked in, the first thing he said was "What's on your mind? What are you concerned about?" I was taken aback in a good way. It was so nice to be asked that! And he really listens and is great at explaining/communicating. I really feel like he's a partner in my health. There's absolutely zero ego or condescension with Dr. Coria. Very easy to talk to. And his staff is really wonderful too. They take care of you immediately and the office is nice.

I will be going back to Dr. Coria. I've been looking for a doctor for a couple of years now and Dr. Coria took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my questions and explain in great detail all his responses/solutions. My last couple of doctor visits over the years, the doctors seem uninterested in taking questions and/or talk to me like I was a child. Dr. Coria took the time with me to listen and give advice, for that, I am appreciative and I will be going back to him for the next annual physical.

I am extremely happy with this practice and the service provided by Dr. Coria. Starting with a new provider can be a stressful experience because you’re never sure what to expect, but my expectations were well exceeded by Dr. Coria and his staff. Excellent experience and I hope to stay here for a long time.

I had hoped that picking a provider closer to my new home would be better, except my experience was less than favorable. I went in to seek treatment based on recent bloodwork. Nurse was very attentive. Although follow-up communication was very lacking. I was told a specialist would reach out only to have them confirm I needed to call myself only after I messaged them. My bloodwork results came back almost immediately after my appt 10/22, I sent a message on 10/31 and asked if I would receive follow up. My message was forwarded to him
And no response. Only after I messaged on 11/14 which now has been 3 weeks for him to get back that this was unacceptable did I finally get a message. Even more concerning my lab work with concerning areas were attributed to a medication I do not take. I will not be returning.

The entire staff was great. Dr. Coria clearly outlined everything, listened and was very thorough. This was the best first time visit I have ever had with a Dr. It can be stressful to change physicians. From the check in to the entire exam, the staff were perfect. It's rare to have a visit fulfill your expectations and in some ways exceed them.

The office was clean and staff was polite.
I just don’t know where medicine is now a days, I went for an abdominal pain and the doctor didn’t even check my lungs or heart as it used to be a normal procedure for every time you visited a doctor for no matter the reasons.
I had to actually ask the doctor to check my ear that was also bothering me and then he hardly touched my abdomen since that was my main complain but I could tell he wasn’t comfortable do in it and he didn’t look confident doing it either. No nurse or assistant was in the room while I was in the room.
I also asked for a mammogram that I get done every year and he said I didn’t needed it for 5 years, or the bone density unless I had a fracture bone, same response for the Pap smear.
I don’t think I would be comfortable going back, I had to change doctors because my insurance plan changed and my old doctors are not in the network.

for the first time, I experienced friendly staff across the board! they were great listeners, communicators, helped with my understanding and comfort all throughout the appointment. the only downside was the wait time for about 30min after my set appointment but i feel that it happens sometimes so I was okay with it.
