Getting to know Elijah Yarpah
Finding your way to a meaningful and joyous life isn't easy and might feel like a distant desire at times. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe it is an important step toward improved happiness and fulfilling purpose. Therapy presents an opportunity to examine and gain insight into one's relationships with oneself, others, and society at large. I hold a PhD in Nursing from Capella University, a Master's in Nursing Education from American Sentinel University, and a Master's in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from the University of North Dakota. As a PMHNP-BC, I serve people who are struggling with trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, developmental disabilities, panic disorders, ADHD & ADD, autism, and borderline personality disorder.
What should a new client know about working with you?
In my first session with you, a kind, nonjudgmental conversation will occur, leading to an individualized treatment plan tailored to your needs. This plan may include time-tested psychiatric medications but will also add non-pharmacologic strategies to aid the recovery process.
