Getting to know Ellery Tarife

Ellery Tarife was born and raised in New York. He is currently residing in Bergen County New Jersey and has been a practicing Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience. He has his Bachelor’s Degree from The State University of New York in Buffalo, received his Master’s Degree at Columbia University, and completed a Post-Master’s Certificate in Psychiatry and Mental Health from Maryville University. Ellery is dually licensed in Family Medicine as well as Psychiatry and has worked in numerous locations ranging from hospital settings to outpatient facilities. He understands the importance of physical well-being, as well as mental well-being, and will work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses the "entire person."

What should a new client know about working with you?

During our initial visit, I will perform a complete psychiatric exam, asking about your past experiences and identifying your current concerns. At the conclusion of the visit, we will discuss your goals for treatment and ways to achieve that outcome.
