Dr. Dixon was great. It's always nerve wrecking going to see a new doctor for the first time but he and his nurse Jessica were amazing. Made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Great sense of humor! I would most definitely recommend friends and family to them. I'm happy I found a Dr who wants to get to the bottom of my problem right away.

Elton Dixon is an attentive and insightful physiatrist serving the communities of Tinley Park, IL and Southern Chicago. Dr. Dixon attended the Ross University School of Medicine, where he received his medical degree, and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Rush University. Dr. Dixon also completed a fellowship in interventional pain management and sports medicine at Michigan Sports & Spine Center.
Dr. Dixon is a part of Suburban Pain Care Center. Patients see him for a variety of reasons, including elbow problems, sport injury, pain management consultation, herniated disk, and neck problems.
Dr. Dixon is practiced at performing a wide range of medical procedures including epidural steroid injections, major joint injections, trigger point injections, and EMG/NCV testing. He utilizes cutting-edge technology in the form of fluoroscopic guidance when performing all spine and major joint injections and keeps his knowledge and skills current by attending annual pain management and electrodiagnostic medicine seminars. Outside of his practice, he enjoys biking, opera, and traveling.
Dr. Dixon prides himself on having a personal, private, and attentive office environment that is run timely and feels more like a family than a doctor’s office. His patients describe him as being a miracle worker. As a pain management, sports medicine, and neurodiagnostic specialist, he provides a comprehensive patient approach that allows him to personally treat each patient throughout the entire care experience.

First the office called to reschedule my appointment because their scheduling system doesn't work with ZocDoc's. Then when I got there, I wasn't in the calendar because the guy I talked to forgot to write me in. They promised the doctor would see me in 15 minutes, and then I waited about an hour and 15 minutes to actually see the doctor. The doctor himself was fine, although he didn't read the notes I had brought in about previous treatment.
