About Emily Hartmann

I am a speech language pathologist who specializes in cognitive disorders, swallowing, voice, speech, and language. I have been practicing speech therapy since graduating with my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology in 2021 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. Wanting to be closer to the mountains, deserts, and everything in between, I moved to Utah from St. Louis, MO in 2019. Although I discovered speech language pathology during my undergraduate career, my passion truly developed when I worked as a rehab technician. This experience provided me with tangible ways speech pathology can improve the lives of individuals after traumatic events/diagnoses. I am passionate about working with others in evaluating their needs to develop a personalized care plan that gets them back to their desired activities at home, school, work, and in the community. Outside of work, my personal passions include my family, traveling, cooking, and my dog! When we aren't skiing or soaking in hot springs, I am always trying new workout classes followed by eating new recipes. I love getting hiking recommendations, especially if they're dog-friendly!
