Dietitian

Hi there - I'm Emily! I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist passionate about helping empower and educate women so they can become the best version of themselves. When I was 16 years old, I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and my life turned upside down. On a quest to manage my own symptoms, I became fascinated with nutrition. As a result, I've earned both my Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nutrition through Marywood University. I've also studied at the Integrative and Functional Nutrition Academy. Throughout this journey, I have learned how to use an empathetic, root-cause approach so other women can feel confident in their health and their choices. I understand feeling confused, isolated, and frustrated with your health and diet because I've been there, too. Many of the women I've worked with have struggled with PCOS, thyroid conditions, hormonal imbalances affecting fertility, weight concerns, blood sugar imbalances, and even more in-depth issues like mold exposure or heavy metal toxicity. Together, I will work with you to first discover the root cause of your symptoms. Then, we will strategize your wellness goals. Finally, we will craft a personalized approach so you feel confident in creating a sustainable lifestyle. Often, this includes changes to your sleep, stress, activity, and even self care practices (alongside food, of course!). My goal is to walk alongside you and encourage you along the way so that together, you can flourish. I look forward to working with you! A license is not required for this provider to see patients.
