I am Emlyne St. Helen a Doctoral prepared nurse practitioner. I have been a Psychiatric mental Health nurse practitioner who has been in practice since 2015. I have experience treating patients in acute care setting, outpatient practice and long-term care setting. I have experience working with a diverse group of patients living with mental health diagnosis for the past Six and half years I Practice psychiatry mostly in the adult and geriatric population in long-term care, assisted living independent living facilities and the geriatric assessment clinic. I have extensive experience working with persons living with dementia and equip to educate caregivers if indicated. I am equipped to treat a range of psychiatric illnesses. I incorporate a holistic module in treatment which means I treat the whole person placing significant emphasis on the physical, emotion, mental and spiritual health of the client. My approach is a person-centered approach, I form a partnership with my clients and together we formulate the treatment plan that is suitable to the client.
I am qualified to diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric illnesses, with great care and compassion.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
