The session did not feel personalized or like she was truly listening. It felt as though she was trying to get through a checklist of questions only and did not give clear recommendations on next steps. It took quite a while a lot of effort on my end to continuously ask her questions and explicitly ask what her diagnosis was and what her recommended next steps were. The whole session felt very surface level and left me feeling like I was a patient number to check off vs her being invested in helping me.

The sessions are brief and succinct, which is exactly what I was seeking, as I am also in weekly therapy. Emily showed genuine interest in my experience and was proactive in finding ways to help me feel better. Her clear understanding of my needs allowed us to identify the right medication option right off the bat. My advice would be to go in prepared to be able to ask the right questions.
