About Dr. Eric Hahn

Many people in Cottage Grove don’t know this about me—but it changed the course of my life and is a big reason I’m committed to paying it forward. I grew up on the Iron Range in Virginia, MN, and sports were my world. I loved playing, coaching, and helping athletes stay in the game. Watching teammates or players miss time due to injuries always bothered me, which led me into athletic training. My goal was simple: help athletes heal faster and keep competing. Then everything changed. While working with a highly competitive college wrestling team, one of our best wrestlers—someone with national-championship potential—suffered a serious injury. The kind that normally sidelines an athlete for weeks. We used every tool we had: rehab, stretching, ultrasound, ice, heat—everything. I eventually had to tell him, “We’re doing everything we can. These injuries take time.” The very next day, he walked in smiling and said, “I’m good. I went to the chiropractor.” He competed—and competed well. Later, while working in a physical therapy clinic treating severe car-accident injuries, I watched a patient improve more in minutes after a chiropractic adjustment than they had in weeks of rehab. Two different settings. Same result. That’s when I realized something powerful was being overlooked. Despite advice from many professionals to avoid chiropractic, I needed to understand the truth for myself. I studied relentlessly, and everything finally made sense once I understood how the spine and nervous system influence healing and performance. Chiropractic didn’t just change my career. It changed my health, my perspective, and my life. Today, at Oasis Chiropractic, my focus is helping people function at their highest level—whether that means staying active, recovering from injury, or simply feeling better day to day.
