Dr. Swegler is the only provider who can prescribe for ADHD medications. At this time we are not accepting new ADHD patients.
Dr. Swegler does physical at 8:30 and 9:00 am and at 1:30 and 2:00 pm daily. Please do not schedule annual physical at other times with her. Tracy Hill, PAC performs them from 7:30 to 3:20.
Erica Swegler is a detail-oriented and diligent family physician and primary care doctor serving the community of Austin, TX. Dr. Swegler attended the University of Texas, Houston, where she received her medical degree, and completed her residency in family medicine at the University of Texas, Southwestern, St. Paul Medical Center.
Dr. Swegler is a part of Beacon Family Health Care and is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Swegler is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Texas Academy of Family Physicians, and the American Medical Association. Dr. Swegler has received the AHA distinguished service award, the C. Frank Weber award for excellence in oncology and the Cardinal Spellman award.
Dr. Swegler is committed to helping her patients enjoy a healthier lifestyle. She works with each one to discuss ways they can make better choices for their health.
Dr. Swegler performs annual physicals at 8:30 and 9:00 and in the afternoon at 1:30 and 2:00 pm. Please use these time slots for physicals only. If you need a physical at another time, Tracy Hill PAC does physicals all day. If you need a DOT physical, call to arrange a time for these special exams.
Dr. Swegler was elected to the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Family Physicians in September 2017. She is out of the office from time to time to attend meetings.

This is the worst and most unprofessional practitioner’s office I have ever been to. I had a serious medical emergency that was blatantly disregarded. She was rude, made me feel like I was just an annoyance to her and completely ignored my very valid concerns to the detriment of my health. The staff was also openly discussing and mocking other patients. I could hear them from the room, where I waited over an hour to be seen. I would strongly suggest you find another office that cares about you, because this is not it.

I totally forgot my Doctors note and was told to drive back to the office to pick it up. I live in Kyle, TX. This was extremely disappointing and seemed like the lady on the phone was not helpful.

Dr. Swegler actually takes the time to listen to patients and think about potential issues rather than just reading charts from nurses/assistants and basing diagnosis on paperwork. I appreciate her thoughtfulness, professionalism and consideration as a patient.
I'd recommend her to anyone in the area, as it was also very easy for me to book an appointment on a quick turn and I didn't spend much time in the waiting room, despite there being several people waiting (everyone seemed to move in and out quickly).
The only potential thing that might put people off is that the office seems a bit dated, but it looks like they're in the process of moving to new space.

Have seen this Dr for 3 years and it had steadily gone down hill. Past two times I've showed up for scheduled appointments I've been told that I wasn't in the system. There is only one doctor at this practice and obviously she can't be there all the time with means getting an appointment can be tricky. She also doesn't do electronic prescriptions for controlled substances which isn't such a big deal but it gets frustrating. Sadly I will be finding a more available doctors office.

Visit was for a 24 month well check. She was very understanding and patient with my wiggle worm. Short wait time, and thorough visit. Asked about my concerns and questions, and gave full answers and suggestions. We left with a great visit, new book and stickers. Front desk staff and nurses were very pleasant as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Swegler for a long time now, but since she was not available due to me making a very last minute appointment, I had the please of seeing Dr. Tracy Hill instead. I have seen Dr. Hill once before but it had been a few years (and she even remembered me after so long). She was absolutely wonderful and I felt I was in very good hands even though it was not my normal PCP, Dr. Swegler, I was seeing this time. She was sweet, caring, attentive, knowledgable and made sure I had everything I needed. Just another reason why this office is top notch! Thank you, Dr. Hill !!!!
