Excellent experience!! My new Dr. Veena Reddy had the best bedside manner and gave the best human care. Receptionist and everyone else were polite and professional. Holly did my blood work and I’ve never had anyone take such care, I hardly felt the needle.

I would highly recommend Dr. Reddy at Family Medicine Austin. She was thorough, a good listener and very kind. She immediately set up referrals, blood test, and a follow up appointment. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Nice waiting room. It was my first visit, but no doubt, Dr. Reddy will be my primary care doctor!

I know my health issues won’t be resolved overnight but she offered a referral and gave me a lot of good information. I specifically scheduled a telehealth appointment instead of in-person since my husband works and I stay home with my 1 year old. I’ve been miserable and told the doctor all my symptoms and she insisted that I go into the office to get tested. After her making me feel that was my only option to get treatment, my husband had to take off work and I drove 30+ minutes to the office only for her to never prescribe me anything or even reach back out to me. I called her nurses twice to get in touch with her. Now since it’s a Friday I’ll be without any medication all weekend. This was the most pointless, unhelpful waste of time and money.

This whole experience has been more than frustrating. My inital call I waited an additional 30 minutes just for her to hop on a call for 2 minutes to tell me to get tests ran. Inital payment down the drain. Then I had to wait two weeks to go into the office. There I checked in and was not serviced until 2 hours after checking in and many patients had came and went by the time they caught on.
I'm 99% sure they went over my out of pocket deductible and I still have not resolved the issue.
Finally, I had to wait another two weeks for a refferal for a urologist, which wasn't even in network! I've been put on the back burner, I feel unseen, brushed off, I still suffer from my symptoms and fear permanent damage has occured since the intial meeting.

The communication was not clear at all and very frustrating. I filled out new patient paperwork a week in advance, only to be met with multiple emails, multiple texts and phone calls to confirm the information that I had already provided. It was inconvenient and annoying. However, seeing the doctor for less than 10 mins via video chat only for the dr to refer me to a specialist. I then had to wait 3 business days for a referral. The dr never gave me any clear communication on how long the referral process would take? She just said “it’ll be in your portal later” I had to call the office twice, to then get an answer of “referrals can take 5-7 business days to appear in your health portal”. I’m still in pain and decided to schedule a specialist appointment on my own without a referral. Seeing this Dr at this center was an absolute waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend.

Overall, the staff was friendly, everything was on schedule, and they provided all the necessary information and exams for my annual check-up. I'm giving 4 stars because I felt rushed during my appointment and wasn't able to discuss everything I needed to with the doctor. I left feeling a bit disappointed that I couldn't cover all the items on my list.
