The doctor was wonderful, we had a really nice chat and it felt more like talking to a friend than a straightforward doctors visit. She was knowledgeable, empathetic, and caring. I would recommend her and am glad I found her. She considered all of my current symptoms and not just the ones that I had scheduled the visit for, plus my medical history. We went over a lot of things and she really looked at the big picture in my individual circumstance and gave sound helpful advice. Looking forward to following up and hopefully starting to feel better!

I was very sick the day of the appt and I didn’t realize I was being interviewed by a nurse practitioner. She didn’t seem prepared for the visit. She called an hour early and thought she was talking to another client. Since I was a new patient, I didn’t know what was going on. She asked sporadic questions and said she would write a prescription when my medication was due the next week and the day I called the pharmacy they had no prescription and it was a weekend. Now I am left to find a psychiatrist on a very short notice. I would not recommend this person because when UTMB finally found her number and I called it a man answered and said she wouldn’t be filling my medication due to I don’t know what. Very unorganized and NOBODY contacted me to let me know what was going on.
