About Esther Zimmerman
Esther Zimmerman, PA-C is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for both medical and cosmetic dermatology. She is experienced in a broad range of dermatological treatments; specializing in pediatric and adult dermatology.
Esther received her Bachelor’s Degree from Queens College with Summa Cum Laude honors, majoring in sociology with a pre-medical focus. She is certified through the NCCPA and earned her Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Pace University in Manhattan. Esther completed her Physician Assistant training at several hospitals in the New York area, including Lenox Hill Hospital and North Central Bronx Hospital.
Esther enjoys spending time with her husband and four kids, enjoying time outdoors and traveling.

Everyone was very nice and helpful especially Franchesca one of the nurses. Very pleasant and reasuring. However, Dr. Zimmerman was not very encouraging about my skin issues. I am not sure if she thought because of medicare that I wouldnt want more treatments but she did not seem interested in any sort of way I could deal with my skin issues. I am going to try another dermatologist.

My experience was wonderful from start to finish. The office is beautiful and clean and the staff was so sweet. My appointment was with Esther Zimmerman. She was extremely sweet and attentive. She has such a gentle hand and was able to answer all my questions/concerns. I recently went to her for cosmetic reasons (botox and lip filler). She is a perfectionist which could not be better when it comes to working on my face! Book with Esther and you will be in great hands! I highly highly recommend!!!

I saw Zimmerman. She was quick. Didn’t really look at the concerned area I had. Just sent a couple of creams and antibiotics to a different pharmacy than my own.

I’ve been a patient of Schweiger Dermatology for years, at various locations. I’m thrilled to now be a patient at the Ave J location in Brooklyn. The office was very clean, the staff friendly and I was seen within a short amount of time. Esther was great. She listened to exactly what I wanted and I didn’t feel the pinch of the Botox needles at all. Yay! She was very easy to talk to, had a warm and sweet way about her and I look forward to my next visit.
