Evan H. Schlam, M.D., has over 20 years of dermatology experience treating patients for various types of medical, surgical, and cosmetic skin conditions. Dr. Schlam is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is also Board Certified in Micrographic Surgery for the treatment of various skin cancers. He received his medical degree from the Chicago Medical School . Following an internship in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Hospital in Brooklyn , New York , Dr. Schlam completed specialty training in dermatology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he graduated with honors. During his residency and postgraduate years, Dr. Schlam received advanced specialty training in Mohs Skin Cancer Surgery and aesthetic cosmetic dermatology in addition to general dermatology.
Dr. Schlam currently serves as Clinical Professor in Dermatology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is also past president of both Broward County Dermatologic Society as well as the Florida Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr Schlam has lectured and published extensively in the fields of dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
Dr. Schlam also has staff privileges at Plantation General, Westside Regional and Jackson Memorial Hospitals.
