Evgeny Pinelis is an extremely passionate and dedicated pulmonologist based in New York, NY. Dr. Pinelis received his medical training from the Russian State Medical University in Moscow, Russia. He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center and his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Dr. Pinelis is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and has made many invaluable contributions to that discipline. He has extensively researched and given presentations on issues such as pneumomediastinum associated with marijuana use. In 2009, he was published in the Journal of Infectious Disease for his collaborative research on malaria vaccines. Dr. Pinelis has treated patients with a variety of ailments ranging from asthma to emphysema.
