Dr. Khan completed his nephrology fellowship from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA where he also completed his internal medicine residency. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Khan practiced nephrology in the desert resort towns of southern California including Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage before moving to the south Atlanta metropolitan area to join our team. Dr. Khan is double board certified in internal medicine and nephrology and is also a transplant specialist. Dr. Khan specializes in chronic and acute kidney diseases, hypertension, electrolyte disorders, dialysis including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy.
