“I was extremely nervous going into this appointment- it has been a long while since I’ve been to the dermatologist. I had a concern with something new I saw on my skin. Although I am still super nervous ( it’s just how I am ) Dr. Fiona Hanly was very sweet, informative, and put me at ease. The office was clean and nice and the assistant was a pleasure also, I believe her name was Taylor ( again, I was nervous and catching names didn’t come easy). Take care of yourself and make the appointment!! I’m super happy with this office ~ their reviews don’t lie. ”

About Fiona Hanly
Fiona obtained her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center with a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, where she graduated with honors. She is also board-certified in dermatology as a Nurse Practitioner from the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago, IL.

Fiona and her staff are so kind& made me feel at ease for my first appointment. However, I left the office feeling a sense of confusion and a need to keep calling back for more clarification. I wish I would have had more time to talk over my diagnosis and ask more questions about my condition after the examination (instead of during it). I thought I would leave the office with more instruction than I did on how to obtain a synopsis of the appointment. A more detailed print out would have gone a long way; instead of just a list of prescriptions and lotions. I truly do like this office and I would love to continue going there. There needs to be a better system in place, however, where patients can refer to detailed instructions and know when they’re getting those instructions, without having to call back to figure it out themselves.

I have been to 4 or 5 Dermatologist over the past several months, Fiona was the first medical professional to confirm I had a condition that clearly needed to be addressed, while prior Dr. ranged from no clue to insufficient to incorrect and/or incomplete diagnosis and/or treatment. Fiona immediately stated there was definitely a concern, how to address, set a new appointment in 2 weeks, and explained the next step if the initial solution was not effective. I was so relieved someone took me seriously and had a plan.
The entire staff was welcoming, prompt, knowledgeable, and helpful.
I highly recommend the office and staff!!

Retired for 6 years. Just checking all the boxes on health screenings I made an appointment . I had only been 2 other times to the same place . Had a small wound that wasn’t healing and I tried everything to no avail. So I went for a full body scan. Everything was completed in a thorough professional manner. Feel great about getting that off my health to do list.

I attended with Fiona, and her assistant, Taylor. They were amazing. I thought I was only having a consult, and to my surprise, they did the excision of my suspicious moles immediately, and sent them for biopsy. The whole experience was very pleasant, and I highly recommend this clinic, and provider. As I am Canadian, I was a self pay, I was presently surprised, how reasonable the service was. I will definitely revisit, should I have too.
