Dr. Frank was fantastic and easy to talk to! However, the challenging aspect of the experience was the clinic's location. Upon arrival, the prominent Toyota and LA Kings logos made it confusing to locate the clinic. Navigating through various areas on crutches, I eventually reached the office. Unfortunately, the front desk officer had me stand while processing paperwork and payment, later instructing me to sit, only to return to the desk for another form. This proved inconvenient for someone with a severe injury. In summary, Dr. Frank is excellent, but the office location and staff presented challenges.

Dr. Petrigliano is an Associate Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery and Chief of the Epstein Family Center for Sports Medicine at Keck Medicine of USC. He serves as the head team physician for the LA Kings hockey team and a team physician for USC Athletics. He specializes in the care of injuries of the shoulder, knee, and elbow. A native of New York, Dr. Petrigliano completed his undergraduate training at Cornell University where he graduated with honors. Dr. Petrigliano then attended the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School for his medical training and his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at UCLA. After residency, Dr. Petrigliano completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City where he assisted in the care of the Brooklyn Nets and Iona College Athletics.
Dr. Petrigliano’s surgical interests include arthroscopic shoulder repair, knee ligament reconstruction, cartilage repair and transplantation, and elbow ligament reconstruction. Dr. Petrigliano also performs total shoulder replacements and reverse shoulder replacements. His research focuses on developing stem-cell based therapies for the treatment of muscle and cartilage injury, and he has received numerous accolades, including the Charles S. Neer Award from the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons, for his study of the role of fibrosis in rotator cuff muscle regeneration. Dr. Petrigliano has authored over one hundred articles, chapters, and peer-reviewed publications on shoulder, elbow, and knee injuries in athletes.

This was the best orthopedic doctor I've seen. He is very professional, personable, very caring, and honest.
Although this facility and doctor treats the Los Angeles Kings, he treats everyone the same.
My last orthopedic doctor left me suspense and worried. although I had a cd of my injury, he wanted to take new images to see where I am now. What a difference another doctor with passion makes.
I didn't feel rushed, he asked did I have any concerns or questions. He answered all my questions. I left out of the office relieved and happy.

Wow.
Wow wow wow.
When I re-tore my ACL, I thought it would be impossible to see an orthopedic surgeon with my insurance, let alone a reputable one.
So when I got set up with Dr. Petrigliano, super bad-ass supreme, I couldn't feel more blessed. Aside from being ultra accomplished - chief of sports medicine at USC, physician for the LA hockey team, insane research lab - his bedside manner is 10/10. You can tell he genuinely wants to see you get better and thrive, and really tailors the treatment plan to your goals.
His office is also very well-run and responsive and kind, which is a rare find.
I have a somewhat complex surgery coming up to repair my ACL, but I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to perform it.
Go see him.
