About Dr. Fred Mo
Fred Mo is a caring and diligent orthopedic surgeon and spine specialist serving the community of Washington, DC, McLean, VA, and Chevy Chase, MD. He attended Tufts University, where he received his medical degree, and completed his internship at Yale University. Dr. Mo continued his studies and completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the same institution. He then completed his fellowship in orthopedic surgery of the spine at Hospital for Special Surgery.
Dr. Mo is a part of Georgetown University Hospital Orthopedics and is affiliated with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC. He is also board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr Mo's office didn't know my appointment that was made thru Zocdoc. Took unnecessary 30 min before sorting out the schedule at the front desk.
Obviously, the problem exist between Zocdoc and Dr Mo's office regarding appointments.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Mo to get a second opinion. I was very impressed with Dr. Mo and organization at the McLean office. I was seen as soon as I arrived. As a new patient, the nurse practitioner came in to do a preliminary exam almost as soon as I was shown to the exam room. Dr. Mo came in shortly afterward. He was very informative as to what was causing problems with my back and hips. He was very attentive when I provided information on how I was affected by my back problem.
I would highly recommend Dr. Mo.

I was very impressed with all of the staff I dealt with and the doctor. Very friendly overall. I got into my appointment early!
The doctor and nurse practitioner both had very good rapport. We walked through my MRI results and the doctor spent a good amount of time evaluating my sciatic nerve issues and discussing options. As did the nurse practitioner.
I would highlyrecommend Dr. Mo and MedSTAR.

This was my first visit to Dr. Mo. The entire experience was very good and reassuring. Dr. Mo and his assistant gave me as much time as I needed. All questions were answered clearly and useful recommendations given.

I had a 08:15 video appointment w/Dr MO. His receptionist had called and left a message for me to call. I called back and was told "I was all set." This morning at 08:00 I logged on to my computer to get set for the video appointment. From 08:15 to 08:30 I waited but no link or call was sent to me. I called the office at 08:30 to ask why I hadn't received a link and was told "like any doctors office I would just have to wait and a link will be sent." At 08:45 I shut down my computer, called the office and left a message as there wasn't any answer. Later in the day I called the office again to make a complaint about wasting my time and the same person who told me "I would just have to wait," asked my name and looked up my information, returned to inform me I had not been registered in the appointment schedule, yet I received a reminder (SMS) about my appointment and time. The receptionist in that office dropped the ball on this appointment.
