About Dr. Fredisia Francis
Dr. Fredisia Francis is a family physician and primary care doctor treating patients in the Laurel and greater Maryland areas. She holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. I waited 3 hours before I was seen. The nurses were running around asking if anyone had seen the doctor and no one could find her for the better part of an hour. The office failed to tell me that they no longer draw blood on site, so when I was finally seen after 3 hours of waiting and a nurse practitioner repeatedly asking me the same few questions, I was told there was nothing they could do for me and that I needed to go have my bloodwork done at a LabCorp location and call them afterwards to make a telehealth appointment. It would have made sense for them to share these instructions with me prior to confirming my in-person appointment, but they did not. So there was truly no point to my visit. Several hours after my appt, I get a call from the receptionist wanting to verify information from the packet I filled out...but I was never given a packet to fill out? She then proceeded to read the notes from my last appointment 2 YEARS AGO (which was also not a pleasant experience and I will not be sticking around for a third strike.)

My only issue with Dr. F's office is the wait time. Though this was a telehealth visit, I still didn't get to speak with her until about 2 hours past my scheduled time. She knows her stuff and is really nice but the wait time is unacceptable. I rarely visit the doctor but when I do, I don't plan on waiting so long before I'm seen.

Thank goodness I wasn't sick or else this visit would have been way worse. I waited over an over. The bathroom had no soap. Right, mind blowing. When it was time for blood work she didn't ask me my name to confirm my identity before taking the sample. There were goals of blood everywhere . The urine drop box was full of samples from all day.

She was awesome. I already knew there would be a bit of a wait due to reviews that I had read prior to scheduling. In my opinion, the wait was worth it due to the level of quality care that I received.

After waiting over hour past my actual appointment time, visit was helpful. I had migraine attack and she was able to treat. Since i was still in pain, I forgot to ask for paperwork describing what I was treated with, it should been given as matter of course. I have to wait to log in to my patient portal to see what exact medication I was given since I don’t remember the names. She is a good doctor but having wait times of over 1 hour is a bit much, I’m not sure I would come back. Every single time I’ve gone it took more than 15 mins past appointment time.

Visit was a little long since it was my first visit to Dr. Easily accessible via public transportation. You will need to walk a couple of blocks from Hanover parkway. Drs office is on the 12th floor across from Holiday Inn and Martins crosswinds.
