Folks talked about the wait time, and yes, the receptionist said there are 5 patients so it will be an hour wait when I walked in my appt on time. However, the wait was about 35-40 min. and the total time I spent there was approx. 1 hour. Spending 1 hour at doctor's office is not so good but I experienced much worse at many other doctors' office so I would say OK. I think it may be causing overbooking with Zococ system and doctor's offices for some reason (maybe the system are not 100% sync'd or updated?) that's why offices may have more patients for the small slots on the day. That is just my speculation. Otherwise, the everyone in the office seems to be nice with professional manner and doctor himself seems to be knowledgeable and explained clearly when he checked my conditions.
It was great to be able to make an appointment through Zocdoc with a few days notice. Dr. Brauner is knowledgeable and explained his observations clearly and provide me with options for treatment. I’ve been seeing him for over three years.

Absolutely amazing! I am so lucky that I found him!
Dr Brauner was professional and straight talking.
Unfortunately Dr. Brauner does not have his ZocDoc account correctly set up and he posts and even accepts appointments at times that his office is not even open. I booked a 9:45 appt (even a 9:30 was listed as available), arrived at 9:35, only to be told that appointments do not begin at 10:15. His response was that he cannot "negotiate with ZocDoc" once the appointment request is sent, so he just accepts it. He did apologize once I said that he should have had his office staff call me to let me know I should not come in that early. The appointment went well after this point, but it was frustrating to wait for 40 minutes completely unnecessarily.

Front desk was rude & made me feel like I wasn’t welcomed & doctor never gave me medicine for my condition said I had to call the following week because he carried a cream in his other office. I’ve been calling almost every other day & nobody called me back so I can pick up cream or a prescription. Entire experience was a waste of time. This office is basically only for middle age women getting Botox

Dr Brauner was terrific. He took his time to explain to me my diagnosis. The office staff was lovely. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Brauner is absolutely amazing! Even though my first appointment with him through Zocdoc did not show up in their system and I had to come back the next day, it was worth the trouble. I saw another dermatologist a week before seeing this doctor and that doctor was clueless how serious my problem was. Dr. Brauner knew exactly what it was the second he saw me. He explained my options and performed very unpleasant procedure in the most gentle way. His assistant Mary was great as well. I came back a week later and he had to repeat complicated procedure that others would probably send me to surgeon to perform. His precision and knowledge is amazing. I am very grateful for finding the doctor who is knowledgeable and does not just offer to shoot steroids everywhere. I was also impressed by their billing style : they give you a receipt with all the charges right before you leave. I think his prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this doctor but call the office after scheduling appointment here to confirm .

Dr. Gary Brauner was honestly one of the most insightful doctors I've seen in a while. He was very thorough and detailed in his evaluation and really did an amazing job explaining everything. Great bedside manner!
An Outstanding and Exceptional doctor in all ways! He's On Top of His Craft. Old School Professional but Still Very Current with the Latest Technologies. No Nonsense here, Straightforward and Accurate with his procedures. I've had several! From Mole removals from head and body to fillers.

I have been going to Dr. Brauner for around 5 years. While the wait times were generally long, it's something that has gotten worse in the last couple of years and it's to the point that I will be switching doctors. He moved to a new office in NYC recently. I had the first appointment of the day at 1:30 PM. After waiting for around 40 minutes, I asked the receptionist if the doctor had arrived yet. She told me, no, he's never there on time for 1:30 appointments. Not sure why this would be an available time slot if that's the case. Anyway, when he finally arrived in the office around 2:15 he told the receptionist that he didn't bring my charts from his other office. Needless to say, I was quite unhappy. They asked if I'd like to reschedule to which I replied that I would be switching doctors. He's a nice man, but he's not respectful of his patients' time.

I've seen MULTIPLE dermatologists for apparently the same issue for many years of my life. Dr Brauner explained what was going on, how/why it happens, and gave me a course of action for the future. I didn't feel like he was interested in getting me in and out. I felt like he was interested in my understanding of my own health.

Knowledgeable, old school, honest and effective

Dr Brauner is extremely articulate and very thorough through his analysis and conclusions. I appreciate the time he and his staff met with me. I highly reccomend Dr Brauner and Im grateful to Zoc Doc for providing me with his information

This doctor office is not linked to Zocdoc. I showed up for my 9:30AM appointment and the reception tells me the first appointment is 10:30 and they are not connected with this service. It was a waste of my morning

I made the appointment the day of at 6 pm, which is impressive in and of itself. I arrived about ten (10) minutes early, filled out the requisite paperwork, and waited... until about 7 pm, at which point I was finally seen. I was a tad cranky, to put it mildly, but the doctor's bedside manner was utterly impeccable, and I'm self-aware enough to go "just take a few deep breaths, the person in front of you took a while, it happens, a lot of dermatologists would require waiting two weeks or more so don't complain, etc." The examination room was decently sized and lit, and I didn't feel like I was on the subway during rush hour, which is always a relief. The receptionist was also extremely nice, not coming across as gruff, surly, etc. The waiting room was nice enough as well; not some tiny dimly-lit closet, like I've seen sometimes in Manhattan. All in all, I'm quite happy with the doctor's services, bedside manner, and so forth. Just be advised that, if you schedule an appointment for after work, you might be waiting a while if my experience is any indication, so bring some reading material.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brauner and his staff. Yes, I waited in the exam room about 30 min but his nurse had already warned me that it would take a while and asked me if I had anything like an iPad or something to entertain myself :) So it was not surprise for me to wait that long. In addition, I made the appointment 1 day before, so I was expecting to wait a little. No big deal. Dr. Brauner apologized about the long wait as soon as he entered the room. He was very friendly and professional. He is very experienced and knowledgable. He diagnosed my condition quickly and treated right there. He explained the condition in detail and gave me written information in case I have more questions. I am very happy that I found him. I will go back to him for my other skin problems too.
Amazing experience. I scheduled this appointment after going to Dr Rapaport's office who scheduled me with a nurse practitioner, and she was too busy to answer my questions, she said her nurse was going to answer my questions. I left immediately, and looked for another doctor. Dr. Brauner was awesome! He saw me immediately, but apologized for my wait (only 5 min). He thoroughly took the time to understand the situation. He talked through everything so that I understood how to proceed taking my medication. It's surprising how some simple things still require questions and answers. I really appreciate that Dr. Brauner makes an effort for his patients to understand, and be able to have the confidence that the doctor has made a correct diagnosis. I left my previous doctor not feeling at all sure that she had my diagnosis correct. When I left Dr. Brauner's office, I felt he had made the best diagnosis that he could. Having confidence in my doctor is extremely important to me.

Dr. Brauner was very knowledgeable and immediately knew my diagnosis. His copay was very high for my insurance and I waited over an hour before I was seen. Great doctor, bad service.
Verified patient
Great experience. Dr Brauner was attentive and open to discussion. He carefully explained his diagnosis and told me what to expect from the medication he prescribed. He didn't rush me out of there and was interested in getting all the facts.
Verified patient
Dr. Brauner is so great! I have never had a doctor explain my condition to me with so many pictures before. And I appreciate the 15-20 minutes he spent with me. Some dermatologists spend all of 2 minutes with you and prescribe you a slew of medications that end up not really working. Dr. Bruner is definitely not one of them.
Verified patient
Where do I start with this doctor? This is one of the worse doctors I've been to. He tells me he could not do a procedure on me because I would be wasting his time since my insurance take so long to pay him. Are you kidding me? He is in it for the money, how about helping your patients? Plus, his nurse say he doesn't allowed him to have computers and manage appointment. its 2016! My appointment was cancelled because it was never schedule via ZocDoc.
Very Professional and Intelligent Doctor ! Soft spoken and gentle, makes you feel relaxed during your visit (even if he's cutting your mole off , as he's removed several. One from my head and one on my stomach). Been going to Dr. Brauner for several years and it's No Surprise why he get's awarded Top Doc in New Jersey Year after Year!

Loved how clear and thorough his explanations were. He also covered historical and recent ideas of treatment for my condition.

Perfectionist no one is as good as him
Verified patient
Knowledgeable physician who was able to diagnose and treat the medical issue. Also, excellent bedside manner which is quite refreshing and rare to find these days.
Dr. Brauner is a very pleasant man and my 9 year old son was really comfortable with him. This was the second time we saw him and he's very quick and knowledgeable with his diagnosis.
Verified patient
Highly knowledgable, excellent dermatologist well worth his reputation as one of New York's best. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain treatment and options. Don't waste your time going elsewhere.
Verified patient
Great doctor and very nice. He listen to what I had to say and gave his honest opinion which I appreciate. Only complain is the wait time of about 45 minutes but I knew that going in as the other reviews pointed out.
I went to visit Dr.Brauner for a second opinion because I wasn’t satisfy with the dermatologist that was treating me. Dr.Brauner did some test on me and sat down and explain to me the problem and told me what would be some of solution something that the previous Dr. never took the time to do. I felt very comfortable with him and knew that I was dealing with professional. I am very satisfy with this doctor and would defiantly would recommend him
