About Dr. Joseph Sarhan

Dr. Sarhan holds both a Doctor of Medicine and a PhD in Immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine, where he graduated Cum Laude in 2020. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Carney Hospital. His PhD research focused on cell death and translational science, which helped form his deep interest in advancing dermatological treatments. Fluent in both French and Arabic, Dr. Sarhan lived in Strasbourg, France, for 10 years. His clinical interests include alopecia, cosmetic dermatology, and general dermatology, with a particular focus on innovative approaches to cell biology and clinical care. Dr. Sarhan has been active in dermatology professional societies, including the Association of Academic Cosmetic Dermatologists, and serves as the Senior Resident Advisor for Dermatologic and Cosmetic Surgery at Yale New Haven Hospital. He is also a longstanding member of the American Medical Association. He enjoys espresso, gastronomy, and design.
