Our practice specializes in the treatment of all kinds of Digestive Diseases, including the Diseases of the Liver, Pancreas, and the Gastrointestinal Tract.
In addition to the hospital facilities, all endoscopic procedures can be performed in the office setting in our state-of-the-art endoscopy center.
Dr. Gorodokin received his undegraduate degree at New York University in 1984. He graduated from Medical School at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1989. He then completed his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at the Bronx Municipal Hospital Center in 1992. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was completed at the Long Island College Hospital in 1994. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and is licensed in the States of NJ and NY. He is the founding doctor of Gastroenterology Consultants of North Jersey, PC and began the practice in 1998.

My appointment was at 3:30. I was seen at 5:15. I was out of the office by 5:25. The doctor spent zero time with me. Offered me nothing for the issue I went to see him for. He’s a nice guy but I was very upset over this visit.

Long wait about 2 hours after making appointment. Then, a basic talk about my symptoms with a priority for scheduling a follow up exam. The drug prescribed was too expensive, so I ended up buying it OTc. It was a waste of time. We'll see if I need additional tests.

Dr. Gorodokin is an exceptional doctor, he listens & recommends what he thinks is necessary. He doesn't jump right into tests & procedures. His office is very nice as well you're able to have your own space in the waiting room & the wait time is only a few minutes. His M.A is very pleasant, as well as professional.

Dr. Gorodokin spent more time arguing with me about my choice to manage my condition with diet than addressing paths to wellness. He was quite egotistic and much too proud to actually empathize with me. If he took an oath to do no harm, he failed on all accounts. I left feeling sicker than when I walked in.

I had a horrible stomach pain for days and my primary doctor advised I see a GI specialist. I came to Dr. Gorodokin and explained my symptoms, and was told I needed an upper endoscopy to figure out what is going on. I had the procedure done a few days later and found out the reasons for my discomfort. Dr. Gorodokin explained the issue and advised what foods I should completely stay away from to prevent flare ups.
Overall, I had a good experience. The procedure was painless, and I was back to work the next day.

I would not return to this center. I felt I was mistreated by the receptionist. The colonoscopy is done without general anesthesia in this doctor's small office with the assistance of a nurse only.

Unprofessional staff, doctor himself was late by an hour. Staff refused to understand what "All copays should be collected after deductible has been met." and insisted on me paying upfront. I refused. They took 45 min to call insurance company to confirm.
Made appointment for 10am (receptionist insisted I made it for 11am until I got my phone out and showed her confirmation email from ZocDoc) left Dr office after 1:30pm. Never again.
