Dr. M is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. There was a wait time of over an hour, but this is because he doesn’t use nurses or midlevels to see patients- he does everything himself. For me, this was worth the wait- he was very attentive and explained his medical decision-making at every point in the visit. Budget enough time in your day to account for a long wait.
Dr. Mucciolo was really thorough and kind. He made me feel very comfortable. Very pleasant experience.

He was absolutely great! One of the best doctors I have seen in a while and I will definitely be using him as my primary OBGYN moving forward :)

Dr.Mucciolo office was easy to find. The office is self is congested but serves it’s purpose. On a scale 1-10 the staff was a 5. I waited about 10 mins to check in at the desk while the staff was in back office have a personal conversation - unprofessional. Despite that, Dr.Mucciolo is a GREAT DOCTOR!!!!! He is very detailed. He goes through your entire history with you and pins points what may cause or contribute to your concerns. I felt very comfortable with him. He is an old fashion doctor which is a plus because he take his time and is very thorough. I would recommend patients to see him. Please keep in mind you may wait longer then you anticipated.
In a nutshell: awful experience, would never recommend to any of my friends. Main reasons: 1. Looong wait: I mean at least over an hour, often 2-3 hrs - and every single of my 4 or 5 appointments with this doctor. He s undoubtedly very experienced and demanded, and probably the wait is for a good reason but other OBGYNs get things organized much better! 2. Rush, rush, rush! I felt rushed out during each of my appointments. It was my 1st pregnancy and - naturally - I had a loot of questions, he barely answered half of them, and I felt literally rushed out at every single appointment. Not to mention several confusion and mix ups with the instructions for my tests and ultrasounds... The whole process was so unclear to me, I was super stressed after each check up - but luckily managed to change the doctor pretty much last minute.

Ended up waiting an hour to see him the first time and then this time was about an hour and 20 minutes. When I finally did see him, he was great. It's just that wait time is tough to deal with. I was just about to get dressed and leave when he finally came in.

I wasn't pleased with the visit. The doctor seemed very knowledgeable and experienced, however front desk receptionist was very hard to deal with, wait time was very long, and office is very outdated with old equipment. Doctor works by himself without an assistant or nurse, and had to go to a separate facility for blood work and advanced imaging.
Dr. Mucciolo is the BEST! He delivered both of my kids and helped me avoid a c-section. Each visit includes time where you sit and talk with him in his office (which sometimes leads to increased wait times). I delivered at NYU where he knows and is well-liked by everyone. I can't count the number of times the NYU staff offered unsolicited compliments of him when he wasn't in the room. He has a great network of colleagues if you need a referral and is well versed in the latest practices. I stuck with him after I switched jobs which sometimes meant traveling from Brooklyn to the Upper East Side; I don't think there is a bigger compliment coming from a NY'er.

Dr. Mucciolo is clearly a very experienced Doctor. He comes across as a person who has seen many many different cases and is well-versed in potential complications and the like. And he is fun!
Verified patient
Really great patient and understanding doctor, did procedures very quickly and kept me distracted by asking me questions. Very knowledgeable and informative.
Verified patient
I constantly have to repeat myself to him about why I am seeing him and where we left off the last time I visited despite his note taking and folder with all of my info. Also - I am NEVER seen at my appointment time. But when I do see him, he is helpful so I have to give him that much. He knows his stuff.
He is excellent!
Verified patient
He's amazing. Gets the job done quick, easy to talk to, and accessible. He's an old school doctor who understands your needs and does what he can.

Dr Mucciolo is the best doctor I ever had. I started to go to his office when I stayed pregnant. The whole pregnancy was beautiful experience thanks to dr Mucciolo. He also delivered my baby. He is highly professional and one of the doctors that really care about his patients. I would not go anywhere else.
Verified patient

He's nice and very reassuring.
Dr Mucciolo is a very experienced and attentive doctor. He asks a lot of questions, explains things very well and takes the time to run a lot of checks. I am very happy to have him as doctor.
Verified patient
Professional, knowledgable, and caring. This was my first time seeing a male OBGYN and Dr. Mucciolo made the entire experience as comfortable as possible. In fact, this was the most pleasant and at-ease I've ever felt at a GYN visit. He listened carefully and answered all my questions in an appropriate way for me to understand. I would definitely recommend him and return again for next year's annual.
Verified patient
Dr. Mucciolo was wonderful. He took his time and asked questions, he was meticulous and attentive. I wish I had found him sooner. He took his time and answered questions and explains everything in detail. Moreover, he sounds like a great person to talk to and alleviate the slight discomfort/awkwardness that a gynecological visit almost always entails.
Verified patient
He was great. I felt as though I was talking to a friend, he was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions and concerns. His were very helpful and polite as well.
Dr. Mucciolo and his staff were excellent! It was my first time visiting his office and the entire process was wonderful, thorough and quick. He made me feel incredibly comfortable, the staff was very friendly and he answered all of my questions. Also, they were able to give me a referral to a doctor close to my home for a mammogram screening. I highly recommend him!
