About Dr. Ebrahim Shahim
Dr. Abe Shahim is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist and clinical assistant professor at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital and Sinai Hospital in Detroit. He holds a bachelor's degree from Columbia University.
Forming relationships with patients is a key part of good healthcare. At Manhattan Women's Health, we seek to know our patients as well as possible. Individual patients have different needs, and our goal is to care for each patient in a unique, personalized fashion.
Our innovative services include complete obstetrical care and gynecologic care offering the latest laparoscopic-assisted surgical techniques, hysteroscopy, pre-conception counseling, contraception, Gardasil vaccination, well-woman and menopausal management. We provide in-house ultrasonography, urodynamic testing, NovaSure Endometrial Ablation, Laser Labiaplasty, and childbirth classes.

I was very impressed with Dr. Shahim and his staff. I was seen promptly and treated in a polite manner. The doctor sat with me before my exam to discuss any questions I had (which is VERY unique in my experience). He also guided me through the exam and explained what he was doing and when. He was extremely clear about everything and listened to everything I had to say. I was very satisfied with the service.
