I absolutely hate going to the lady doctor. HATE it. But Dr. Friedman (and her staff) made it as painless as possible to get my checkup and talk about birth control options. She is very nice, she really listens when you talk, and she really wants to find the answer that works best for you and I truly appreciated it. Also, everyone in the office was very nice and helpful, the office itself was nice, they were organized, and just overall it was a great experience.

Very personable and took the time to listen to all questions or concerns. Did not feel rushed at all. Was very professional and would definitely recommend Dr. Friedman to others. Office was very nice and front desk and other staff were great.

Gayle Friedman, M.D. is a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who has practiced medicine in Rockville, Maryland for 19 years.
She is a fellow of ACOG. She is a long-time Washingtonian, having grown up in Virginia.
Dr. Friedman graduated from the University of Virginia with her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering and premed in 1987, and she graduated from the Medical College of Virginia with her medical degree in 1991.
She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1992 and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1995.
She finished her training in New York at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She then returned to the D.C. area, where she has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Friedman has over 19 years of experience in practicing medicine and hormone replacement therapy. Dr. Friedman specializes in obstetrics and gynecology, and she is affiliated with Shady Grove Adventist Hospital.
Dr. Friedman has always been interested in new and advanced therapies for women’s medical care, and has been following the movement toward bio-identical hormone therapy and anti-aging medicine for more than ten years. She has received additional training in the complete endocrine evaluation of women, and is excited about finally having the outlet to explore traditional and adjunctive treatments for her patients.

First of all, the place was difficult to locate since they are newly built. Then, the waiting time for me was almost an hour, even when I filled all my forms online on ZocDoc. It was difficult for them to locate the forms. I went for general Gynae consultation, but they made me do the whole physical examination for which I was not at all prepared. Despite me telling them that I do not need it, they made me go through this. I will not recommend this to anyone.
