About Genet Finnegan

Based in Manhattan, Genét Finnegan is a Physician Assistant specializing in dermatology. Great appointment compared to other dermatologists. The appointment was very thorough and Genet Finnegan PA gave me much more information than I expected. The office was also extremely helpful in coordinating between my insurance and pharmacy.

This was my first experience with Zocdoc and I would say that overall it was very positive. The check-in forms were fast and easy to complete and made the process seamless. The office also sent text reminders of your appointment, which was convenient. My physician was amazing and thoughtful. Gennet Finnegan was a great PA- really listened to me and addressed all my concerns! I would return to her. The office, however, is not good about bringing their patients back on time. Both times I have been in to the office I have had to wait at least 30 minutes.

Waited over half an hour for my appointment; receptionist didn't think to mention they were running behind. Playing loud music in waiting room and in the doctor's office; didn't exactly create comfortable environment for asking questions etc. The doctor herself was perfectly nice but all things considered will not be returning.

Dr. Finnegan was great at addressing all the concerns I had and answered any questions I had. She knew my previous history and information already so I did not have to explain everything from the beginning when I went to see her. She also made sure to ask the right questions to find the best treatment. Very professional, and would see again.

I've been a patient of Genet's for years at this point. She's hands down my favorite derm I've ever been too. She's so kind, knows what she's talking about, helpful, and genuinely listens. I literally asked her about something I heard on tik tok for my last appointment and she answered my question in a meaningful and reassuring way.

Pros: PA Finnegan is patient, calm, soft spoken, and most importantly, diligent. She takes her time and answers questions. Her full body skin check is always thorough. Highly recommend.

I did my first Ultherapy with Genet. I am a little apprehensive because I've read many reviews about the pain and other side effects after the procedure. Genet made it very comfortable for me to do the procedure. She calls out every step in what she's doing. Ask me how I feel and if I want to take a rest. She even counts on parts that are a little bit uncomfortable, so you know it's ending soon. She's very gentle, and her bedside manner is just the best. I hope that I'll see some good results with my procedure, but even if I didn't, the experience with Genet is worth getting it done. I attribute my fantastic skin to her; she's kind, gentle, and knows her stuff. She gives good recommendations, whether it be skincare routine or procedure. I love her!!!! :-)

This was my second great experience with Genet. I really appreciate that she gives me information that allows me to understand more about my diagnosis. This helps both my stress level and my ability to complete the treatment. She is warm and caring and informative but also efficient. I was very happy with my video visit with PA Finnegan. She was very nice and personable, thorough, did not rush (which a lot of doctors do), and was very knowledgeable. She spent more time with me than any of the other doctors I’ve seen in that office and I felt that she really listened. That is why I prefer to see a PA as they usually are more inclined to spend more time to explain and educate the patients.
