About Dr. George Conrad Jr.
George T. Conrad, MD, FACS, was born in Chicago, Illinois, and is a graduate of Northwestern University. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Rush University. He completed both his internship and residency in General Surgery at Howard University Hospital. Following this, he pursued a Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at Johns Hopkins University, focusing on thyroid cancer research.
Dr. Conrad has 20 years of experience in general surgery. He is the founder of his private practice, Capitol Surgeons, located in Silver Spring, MD, where he has been practicing ever since. Additionally, he serves as the Director of Acute Care Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital and Holy Cross Germantown Hospital and is the Chief of the Division of General Surgery at Holy Cross Hospital. Dr. Conrad is dedicated to providing comprehensive, top-quality care to all of his patients.
