Dr. George Rankin is a dependable and engaging board certified family medicine physician, who serves the Clearwater community. As a provider that takes the time to understand symptoms and make diagnoses, Dr. Rankin wants to ensure the continued health of his patients. Dr. Rankin earned his medical degree from the University of California at Davis in Davis, California. He then continued his medical education by completing a family medicine internship and residency at the University of South Florida-Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. He then completed a primary care sports medicine fellowship at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Dr. Rankin went on to complete a faculty development fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco in San Francisco, California.
In addition, he is also certified in primary care sports medicine of added qualification, as well as, in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine and part of the BayCare Medical Group.

Fast and efficient...especially for my first time visit, paperwork for my inciation was name address and contact, state of the art...nice facility, clean, friendly environment and nice staff...no waiting, was called before my appointment scheduled time...time is important...Dr. Rankin was great, Dr. Rankin knows what he's doing, if you don't know or are not sure he will fill in the blanks for you...a Doctor that knows his profession...definitely a recomendable institution Bay Care...a big plus is they have Bay Care networking, so all my doctors are under the same network...
