Please be sure to read his bio below :) Currently, Dr. Sager ONLY accepts Cigna PPO- please inquire with our office directly. He also accepts cash-pay patients and fees are $290 for his 45-50 min consult & $185 for 30-40 min follow ups. Please be aware that once you book through ZocDoc, our office will reach out to you directly to confirm your appt/have you complete our internal, digital-intake forms. Our forms must be submitted within 24 hours of booking so we have a chance to verify your insurance benefits to ensure you are covered. "Following graduation from medical school, Dr. Sager completed his psychiatric residency at Hillside Hospital, the psychiatric division of Long Island Jewish Medical Center, a teaching affiliate of Albert Einstein School of Medicine. He began his career transitioning from an addictive disease unit into one of the first dual diagnosis units. Dr. Sager moved to Delaware where he maintained a private practice for more than 20 years, while also working in numerous capacities at private & state hospitals, community health centers, & substance abuse facilities. Dr. Sager is one of the first psychiatrists to be board certified by the American Board of Psychiatrists and Neurology, with added qualifications on Addiction Psychiatry. Although trained by analysts in NY in both insight-oriented & supportive psychotherapy, & still maintaining some psychotherapy patients, Dr. Sager has spent much of his career treating non-responsive mood, anxiety & substance abuse disorders as well."
