Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

Great experience and he was very thoughtful in his approach
This has been the worse experience with a doctor. I used to compete in bodybuilding years ago and I got off steroids 5 years ago.Because of this now I have some fertility issues and it has caused me anxiety and a random tic which now has progress to different types of tics. Made an appointment to speak to a professional to see what we can do since as a man I have never experienced this. This doctor the moment he saw me without even listening immediately started asking me if I was depending on drugs. I don’t drink and I have never done drugs and I was immediately profiled. A waste of my time because at the end I got hit with a bill for zero service or assistance. At the end of my appointment he proceeded to send me an email with all the substance abuse locations in my area. Worse profiling and discrimination I have ever experience. I have now found a doctor who listens and is helping me overcome these ticks while we proceed with IVF which is an extremely emotional experience.

I didn’t feel like I was being listened to, instead felt that I was just another task of the day. He recommended having several more appointments before we discussed a plan.

I had a virtual telehealth visit. Dr. Albert Fernandez was a terrific provider. He was great directing the conversation very efficiently, but allowed plenty of time for me to answer. He offered some ways to get started to treat my condition. I would highly recommend him if someone is looking for this type of provider.
Amazing! Made me feel so comfortable and listened to everything I had to say and didn’t feel any pressure or anxiety from the experience.
