In 2011, he became Certified in Kinesio Taping, which is commonly used to help Olympic and professional athletes. He has participated in volleyball at the Empire State Games, two-man beach volleyball tournaments, and numerous triathlon and cycling events. He uses his own experience as an athlete desiring to "stay on the playing field" in arriving at treatment plans for elite as well as recreational competitors.
