I was born and raised in Santa Monica and pursued a career in primary care because of the versatility and opportunity to treat a wide spectrum of ages and ailments and educate patients about preventative care. I love how One Medical is on the forefront of incorporating technology into healthcare in order to improve, enhance, and personalize the medical experience, thus improving the doctor-patient relationship. I believe taking the time to educate patients is critical in building trust and successfully preventing and treating illness, and I try to care for my patients as though they were family members. Because diabetes, high blood pressure, and obesity run in my family and are some of the top ailments plaguing America, I feel a vested interest in treating these issues. I believe nutrition and exercise are the foundation in living a long and healthy life. To stay healthy, I try to be active including biking and playing sports. I consider myself a big foodie and love trying bizarre or exotic foods. I treat ages 18+. I go by Gilbert. My pronouns are He/Him. I stay healthy and happy by biking to the beach with my dog Foxy in my bicycle basket. I received my education at UCLA and Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, completed my residency at UCLA, and am board certified by ABFM.
