Gina Higgins, MSN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over five years of experience supporting adults through trauma, PTSD, mood disorders, bipolar disorder, and suicidality. Known for her compassionate listening and collaborative approach, Gina believes that every person has the capacity for change and the right to make empowered decisions about their mental health.
Gina’s career began as an ICU nurse, where her patients and their families recognized her deep empathy and encouraged her to specialize in psychiatric care. Since then, she has sharpened her clinical skills across diverse settings, including psychiatric emergency rooms, hospitals, community health centers, prisons, and outpatient clinics.
