Great facility with very friendly staff...first time visiting an eye doctor since I was a child (I’m 28 now).
Found out I needed glasses for my astigmatism, which I had no idea I had.
Anyways, I was helped with picking out a pair of flames for about 30 minutes or so as I have never worn glasses before and since I’m gonna be wearing glasses full time now I definitely needed help finding a frame that would suit my face. They were extremely helpful finding some frames for me. They have quite a selection from basic cheap frames to designer Gucci frames.

Dr. Golie Roshandel Keovan received her Bachelor of Science degree from Loyola University Chicago with a major in Biology in 1997. From there she attended the Illinois College of Optometry where she received her doctorate of Optometry and became DPA and TPA certified in 2002. During school, Dr. Golie was elected to join the Gold Key International Honor Society and the Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. She also received an award of Clinical Excellence.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, and Illnois Association of Prevention of Blindness. She speaks fluent Persian (Farsi) and Spanish. Patients know her as a friendly and caring doctor who listens thoroughly to their needs.

I liked her. Seemed to do a thorough exam. Office is nice. Wait time was okay. I recommend her. Why is “LGBTQ friendly” a question? Why is this everywhere now? When I was young there were two genders and no one had a problem with that or was confused about it. Now there are supposedly more than 100. Makes no sense to me.

She is knowledgeable, nice, and good at her job, but always tries to up-sell me. I've told her my financial circumstances but she still pushes the store's items that are 3x the cost at pharmacies, instead of suggesting affordable options. I wish she met me where I was at, and didn't just brush it off and say she didn't know the cost of their own brand. They say they match 1800contacts but they don't accept insurance if they meet that amount, which means they don't actually match. I always feel rushed and if I need another procedure or test, I'm rescheduled to come back weeks later, even if it ultimately only takes 5-10 minutes.

I would never recommend anyone go here. They were constantly trying to upsell me on everything - products, tests, and glasses. It felt extremely unprofessional, as the doctor was insistent upon selling me her OWN BRAND of eye cleanser and drops. I felt like I was talking to a car salesman. I have major concerns about the ethics of this practice, and I will not be returning as they tried ti charge me extra to disclose my pupillary distance, which they already have on file in their system. Do not go here.

She was heavily pushing supplements
that I found out later she herself makes. So unprofessional and trying to give me expensive snake-oils to cure my real medical issues. Talked very fast and was exptremely pushy with these products giving no other alternatives. It was a terrible experience. I just wanted my eyes checked and to get a prescription and real medical treatment. If you're into unfounded holistic, expensive placebos, go here. I believe her prescription and findings were real, but if you want true solutions this is not the place. Huge ethical issues with this person.

I walked in for my appointment and it took for the older gentlemen to tell the young lady to acknowledge me before she took care of me. But the rest of the staff was extremely nice. The doctor was really sweet and attentive and very informative. Would definitely recommend others to this location.

Dr. G was able to quickly diagnose my medical issue and put me on an effective treatment. She was very knowledgeable and explained what to expect over the course of the treatment, helping to allay any fears and giving me a sense of security. I even followed up with her afterward for a vision exam, and found her insight to be helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. G to anybody needing vision services.

The wait was a bit long each time I went. They were also pushy about getting me to buy glasses. I also didn't appreciate the doctor trying to say that I should stop taking my psychiatric meds and take vitamins instead. She should stick to her own field.

The wait was longer but understandable as there were a few patients back there, and the staff kept me occupied with their selection of glasses while I waited! Really personable and friendly place, I felt very comfortable there. Not to mention the place was so clean!
Doc herself has great bedside manner and was super informative. She didn't spend all that much time on the typical optometrist procedures and spent more time finding out and explaining things to me that I had never even heard of before. I feel like I just received the most comprehensive eye exam I've ever had. Certainly will be back!

Dr. Roshandel-Keovan was very kind and knowledgeable. Unfortunately I had to wait almost an hour and a half after my appointment time to even meet with her. Having to leave my work early to make the appointment, it ended up being a total waste of my time.

I walked in and was instantly greeted by the girl at the desk. There were a few other patients, all being helped. I filled out my info and maybe waited 2 minutes for her to come and see me. She explained all of the eye tests we were doing, and why they were being done. Something I've never experienced before. I felt truly welcomed to be there.
I was very grateful for the time that was taken to explain to me my insurance information along with how they billed. I'm normally so confused, but this time I actually felt like I understood what was going on. :)

Dr Golie was very thorough in trying to understand the source of my issue and helped develop a holistic approach to treating the various root causes of the issue. While my wait time was not ideal, based on my experience it seemed to be because she was spending the time needed with each patient instead of rushing to meet a schedule.

Belmont Eye Care is the best. My family has been seeing Dr. Keovan for the past 5 years and each visit has been a positive experience. We LOVE Dr. Golie! My family and I have been seeing her for several years now. She is professional and knowledgeable, yet warm and friendly. Her staff is great too. I have eyeglass since I was 7 yrs old and had LASIK when I was 21 (13 yrs ago). This is my best experience I've ever had in my life. Dr. Golie is so SMART, detail-oriented and patient. Belmont Eye Care has great various modern facilities. I went there for eye exam, but as my blood sugar was borderline last year, she measured my eye pressure, as well as other digital eye exams.
I often have redness, itching, contact lens discomfort and tired eyes and thought these symptoms are caused by external irritants, however I learned that all are because of dry eyes and "Dry eye is a disease" and have treatment. She measured dryness of my eyes by TearTab Osmolarity Test. So quick and precise diagnose! Mine is 328, means at end of moderate range, normal range is 280-300 mOsms/l. She prescribed for it.
She also scanned my eyes quickly for health checking of my eyes and their nerves, with a special facility that I have not seen before; not in Chicago, nor in San Diego eye cares. And prescribed supplement for health of my nerves, she even gave me diet tips for absorbing good fats that are necessary for health of eyes.
Her staff are professional and polite. Paper works are just digital/online, so simple and quick. All rooms and Space are so clean and nice decorated in orange tone, my fav color. Waiting time was not long, also eyeglass collections were diverse and fortunately tasteful.
