“I have been through quite a few providers, but Dr.Kusi is the best I have had. He is so caring, really listens to what I have to say and actually tries to help alleviate any negative symptoms I am going through- not just rush through the appointment and prescribe meds in a haste. I feel I can be honest with him too, and talk to him openly without worry he is going to penalize me harshly, like I have felt with past providers. I feel like he actually knows me, because he listens, which is great and makes for better treatment :)”

Dr. Gordon Kusi,APN is a family psychiatric & mental health nurse practitioner at Keystone Integrated Health in Township, NJ. He also offers virtual consultations. He welcomes patients across ages and genders facing mental illnesses affecting their quality of life.
Mr. Kusi understands patients' concerns, reviews their medical history, and conducts psychiatric evaluations to arrive at an accurate diagnosis. What should a new client know about working with you?
To help make your visit as efficient and comfortable as possible, we ask that you complete your new patient intake paperwork in advance. You will receive an email from Headway with a link to our new patient intake process. Please create your patient profile and complete all required forms in the Headway patient portal before your appointment time.
If you are unable to attend an appointment, we request that you provide at least 24 hours advanced notice
to our office. Since we are unable to use this time for another client, please note that you will be billed for
the entire cost of your scheduled appointment if it is not timely cancelled, unless such cancellation is due
to illness or an emergency.
For cancellations made with less than 24 hour notice (unless due to illness or an emergency) or a scheduled appointment that is completely missed, you will be mailed a bill directly for the full session fee.

It was the worst appointment I've ever had in the past. It was extremely unprofessional and I felt belittled. He was ate to the appt when I scheduled in person he tried to text me and say to do the appt virtually instead, I said I'd like in person so I waited in the parking lot, "some people like it old school meeting in person so I drove all the way here to see you." Told him my objective was to stay on the meds I was currently on, hat my objective was and I told him that I'd like to stick to the meds list that I've been taking, half of them the wouldn't prescribe. He was judging me from the beginning, and I kept saying you don't even know me yet and he said yes. I do .When I told him I had PTSD he questioned me and didn't believe me. He tried to say that I had an illness which I didn't.Told me about his expensive app so he was right. Mid session he said he had to make a call and ordered his dinner so when done he can pick it up. Disgusted by his behavior is an understatement.
