About Grace Llewellyn
Grace Llewellyn, FNP-BC with Boulware Medical Clinic provides comprehensive medical care to patients across their lifespan. As a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Grace specializes in diagnosing and treating patients of all ages and a diverse range of health conditions. Grace's areas of special interest include depression, anxiety, well-women exams, weight management, and preventative medicine.
Grace began her career at the University of Missouri Kansas City, where she graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Grace served as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) RN in Kansas City for seven years. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing and obtained her Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Rockhurst University’s Research College of Nursing. Grace graduated top of her class and was awarded the Dean’s Award for Graduate Achievement.
Grace is a practitioner who is invested in her patients personally, as well as in their health and well-being. Grace chose to become a Family Nurse Practitioner because she enjoys the continuity of care and building relationships with her patients. Grace enjoys helping patients to become actively involved in their health by creating treatment plans jointly with her patients, ensuring treatment is appropriate for the needs and lifestyle of each individual.
In her personal life, Grace enjoys spending time with her husband and their two huskies, fostering huskies for the local Kansas City shelters, traveling (especially to visit family), being outdoors, cooking (and eating!), and going on hikes and walks with the dogs.
