“Dr. Grace Madueke is a thoughtful and attentive psychiatric nurse practitioner who really takes time to listen. She explains things clearly and makes sure you feel comfortable with your treatment plan instead of rushing through appointments. She comes across as knowledgeable and calm, which makes it easier to talk openly. I also appreciated that she didn’t take a one-size-fits-all approach—she worked with me to figure out what actually made sense for my situation. Overall, a supportive and professional provider who genuinely cares about her patients.”

Getting to know Dr. Grace Madueke

I’m Grace Madueke, a doctorate-prepared Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Washington state and founder of Grace Wellness PLLC. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My background includes private practice and intensive outpatient care, where I’ve supported clients with complex and diverse needs. I take a holistic, person-centered approach that integrates thoughtful medication management with supportive therapy. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in your treatment plan.

What should a new client know about working with you?

When you work with me, you can expect a space that feels warm, grounded, and genuinely supportive. I don’t believe in rushing the process or treating you like a diagnosis. I take time to understand your full story — your stressors, strengths, relationships, health, and the season of life you’re in. Whether we’re focusing on therapy, medication management, or both, our work will be collaborative and paced in a way that feels safe and manageable for you. My goal is for you to feel heard, respected, and empowered — not judged or dismissed — and to leave each session with greater clarity, stability, and confidence in your ability to move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

When working with me, our process begins with a comprehensive initial evaluation where I take time to truly understand your story — your symptoms, stressors, medical history, lifestyle, relationships, and goals. This first phase is about clarity and connection. Together, we identify what’s working, what’s not, and what meaningful change would look like for you. From there, we develop a personalized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, or a combination of both. I use evidence-based approaches while keeping your preferences and comfort level central to every decision. Follow-up sessions focus on tracking progress, adjusting strategies as needed, building practical skills, and deepening insight. My approach is collaborative and flexible — we regularly reassess your goals and make thoughtful changes to ensure your care continues to feel aligned, supportive, and effective.
