Dr. Nunez graduated from Fordham University in 1988 with a degree in Biology and earned her M.D. from Mount Sinai Medical School, New York. She did her post-graduate Pediatric training at North Shore University Hospital and was Chief Resident in her final year. She is board-certified by The American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Nunez is also a Pediatric Attending at the North Shore-LIJ Health System. She is married and the mother of two children. She loves to read and play the piano.

This office is on the side of a apartment building which is okay but they do not give you clear instructions on how to get in the building.When I arrived I was probably 3 mins late due to difficult office to locate then I called the office and was unable to speak to anyone . When I walked in the office the entire staff was very unwelcoming no greating at all , they just asked patients name and asked me to go to room no one directing me from the front desk as if this was not my first visit!!! Medical assistant did not even speak to my daughter (the patient)at all to even break the ice. Mind you this is a pediatrics office you would think they would be more welcoming my daughter was screaming because who wants an un friendly stranger touching them she then aggressively grabbed and pulled my daughter leg to take her height. Then still went on to try to take her temperure and shoves the thermometer in my daughter's ear. They had a whole week to send me the portal link but did not and sent it to me when I was sitting in their office with a frustrated baby. Please don't take your kids there. They deserve better. ?
