Dr. Puglisi joined Mid Island Allergy Group in July of 2007. He attended undergraduate school at Syracuse University, and received his medical degree from the St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Medicine at Yale University affiliate Nowalk Hospital, and a fellowship in Allergy-Immunology at Nassau University Medical Center, and North Shore – Long Island Jewish Medical Center, under the division of Pediatrics. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Puglisi is a fellow of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, a member of the American Academy of Allergy Asthma and Immunology, in addition to state and local medical and allergy societies. He has published on topics related to asthma, food allergies, and immunodeficiency.

Never have I met such an ego-maniacal, argumentative, disorganized, and completely dismissive doctor. Everything with him was an argument, to include something that he could have verified easily, had he chosen to utilize his literacy skills. Everything he said to me was to undermine what I know about my body and my reactions to foods--having had these problems all my life.
As an educated woman and never seeing this man before, one would *think*, as a doctor, he would listen first and try to figure out the solution second, but Dr. Puglisi is a know-it-all who would rather rush you through your appointment and your responses to his questions simply to hear the sound of his own voice than listen to his patient give accurate and valuable feedback on his or her experience.
Never will I return to his office and I am having all my information forwarded to my new allergist immediately!
