What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that every patient deserves individualized and compassionate care. My approach to psychiatric medication management is collaborative—I take time to listen to your experiences, understand your unique concerns, and work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels comfortable and realistic for your lifestyle. During our visits, I provide education about your diagnosis and treatment options so you feel informed and empowered in your care. Together, we’ll monitor progress, adjust medications when necessary, and focus on helping you achieve stability, clarity, and improved daily functioning. While my practice is focused on psychiatric evaluations and medication management, I recognize that many patients benefit from therapy as well. If appropriate, I can provide referrals to trusted therapists and other mental health professionals to ensure you have a well-rounded support system. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, respected, and confident about your mental health journey.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first session, I take the time to get to know you and your unique story. We’ll explore your current concerns, past experiences, medical and psychiatric history, and any previous treatments you may have tried. This comprehensive psychiatric evaluation helps us understand the full picture of your mental health. From there, I collaborate with you to develop a personalized treatment plan, which may include medication management as well as recommendations for therapy or lifestyle strategies that support your goals. I focus on education, helping you understand your diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect. Follow-up visits are structured to monitor your progress, evaluate how you’re responding to medications, and make adjustments if needed. My goal is to ensure that you feel supported, empowered, and actively involved in your treatment, with an emphasis on improving your overall quality of life.

More information on payments and coverage

I want your care experience to be as smooth and stress-free as possible. Before your first appointment, my team will verify your insurance benefits to help you understand what services may be covered and what costs you may be responsible for. Please note that insurance coverage can vary depending on your specific plan, deductible, and authorization requirements. If you prefer not to use insurance, I also offer straightforward self-pay rates for services. A Good Faith Estimate will be provided so you know the expected cost of your treatment before we begin. Payment is collected at the time of service, and most major credit and debit cards are accepted. If you have any questions about coverage, billing, or financial responsibility, I will work with you to make sure you feel clear and comfortable before moving forward with care.
