About Gretchen Rovinsky

Gretchen received a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Metropolitan State University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. She remained at Regis University to earn her Master of Science in Nursing. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Gretchen provides her patients with a full range of preventive services including well-child exams, well-woman exams, complete physical exams, and sports and camp physicals. Additionally, she diagnoses, treats, and manages chronic illnesses and sees patients for urgent and acute care. Maimonides Outside of work, Gretchen plays with her children, enjoys nature any way she can, and is an avid reader.

Gretchen was efficient and highly competent - she made me feel comfortable being in a new office and introduced other topics of conversation sans technical medical jargon. The lab/office uploaded my results to the patient portal and called to follow up, it was all super easy.

After a significant wait (it seemed like a busy day at SCL Health,) Gretchen greeted me. She articulated well, and she was easy to talk to. I discovered that she (my new PCP) is just an e-mail away, and I look forward to our working together.

The office staff and nurse assistant who saw me first were nice. However, Rovinsky had terrible bedside manner, seemed rushed the whole time, did not provide useful treatment or advice beyond what I already knew/had been doing to help myself, and had a such a nasty attitude that I ended up crying in the exam room after she left. I was worn down from being sick/in pain and not sleeping, and some empathy would have gone a long way to help me feel better and have a good experience at this office.

Gretchen listens to any issues or/ and concerns and advises, treats, researches to provide the proper treatment. She takes time and doesn't rush through the visit. I've only had two other medical professionals (I'm 77) who I've respected (in my life) as much as Gretchen.
