I am a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in both adult and addiction psychiatry, dedicated to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care for a wide range of mental health conditions. After completing my psychology degree at Harvard and medical training at the University of Miami, I completed my psychiatry residency and addiction psychiatry fellowship at Yale University, where I worked alongside leading researchers developing innovative treatment approaches.
In my practice, I treat the full spectrum of mental health conditions while maintaining particular expertise in addiction psychiatry. I may recommend patients seek larger organizations for services if recently or acutely suicidal or have had recent psychiatric hospitalizations. However, otherwise my practice accepts a broad range of patients. I believe in meeting each patient where they are, developing individualized treatment plans that combine medication management with other therapeutic approaches as needed. My experience has taught me that successful treatment requires both clinical excellence and a deep understanding of each person's unique circumstances and goals.
I maintain faculty teaching positions at Yale School of Medicine and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and stay current with the latest advances in psychiatric care. I ensure that my patients receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based treatments available.
My approach is collaborative and patient centered. Whether you're seeking help for anxiety, depression, substance use concerns, or other mental health challenges, I am committed to working with you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your needs and goals.
