Getting to know Hannah Shay
Hello! I'm Hannah, and I provide compassionate, trauma-informed mental health care. My areas of focus include trauma recovery, childhood trauma, domestic violence, sexual abuse, and supporting military personnel and veterans. I'm also deeply committed to helping patients feel safe, heard, and supported as they work toward healing and emotional stability.
I earned both of my BSN and MSN degrees from Georgia College & State University and bring a strong clinical background from working with individuals across diverse settings. I currently reside in Greenville, South Carolina, and in my free time, enjoy spending time with family and friends.

What should a new client know about working with you?
I approach mental health care with warmth, empathy, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I understand that trauma affects both mind and body, and I work collaboratively to create a calm, supportive space where my patients can feel grounded and empowered.
My style is nonjudgmental, steady, and focused on helping patients reconnect with their strengths. I truly value honesty, clear communication, and meeting patients exactly where they are.

What is your typical process for working with clients?
I begin by taking time to truly understand each patient’s history, symptoms, and goals. Together, I work with my patients to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include interventional treatments such as Spravato (esketamine) nasal spray, ketamine-assisted therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), medication management, or the dual sympathetic reset (DSR) of the advanced stellate ganglion blocks (SGB). I believe healing is a partnership and work with patients to ensure their plan remains effective, supportive, and aligned with their needs.

After scheduling your appointment, you will receive an email from Stella Mental Health containing your intake paperwork. Please allow about 30 minutes to complete this form. Your responses will help your provider prepare for your upcoming appointment. All patients are required to complete the intake form 24 business hours before their appointment.
You will receive a phone call from one of our dedicated Care Advocates, who can answer any questions you may have. Please be prepared to provide a credit card to keep on file for co-pays or cancellation fees. Late cancellations and no-shows will be charged the full intake appointment fee ($292).
During your intake appointment, you’ll spend 60 minutes with your provider collaborating on a treatment plan tailored to your needs. If in-person treatments are recommended—such as TMS, Spravato, DSR SGB, or ketamine therapy—our care team will guide you through the process and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.
