Dr. Safier made me feel very comfortable during my first gastroenterology appointment. However, while he continued to reassure me that nothing was wrong and I was very healthy for someone my age, he has still ordered me to have a colonoscopy (yet I am only 28 years old). I found this recommendation odd and am electing not to have this procedure done until I receive a second opinion.
