He received his Bachelors of Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and Doctor of Medicine degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed six years of post-graduate training including residency in internal medicine, chief medical resident and fellowship in gastroenterology at Lenox Hill Hospital. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
