About Dr. Hima Bindu Jyothi
Dr. Hima is Board certified by American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
She graduated from the esteemed Sri Venkateswara Medical College, Tirupati, India in 2007. Inspired by the resilience and innocence of young patients, she pursued residency in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of New Jersey, NJ.
During her residency she also spearheaded breastfeeding quality improvement project and developed special interest in it. Prior to her move to DFW, she has served at Covenant Health Plainview at various hospital settings, including nursery, in-patient, and out-patient departments. In recognition of her excellence, she was consecutively honored with the Reader’s Choice Best Pediatrician award. While working there, she also served as Pediatric Committee Chairman.
Dr. Hima is happily married and is a mother to a 12-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter. Apart from her work responsibilities, she finds joy in doing fun things with her family and friends, traveling, hiking, and practicing yoga. Dr. Hima resides in Frisco and is proficient in English, Telugu and Hindi.

Dr. Jyothi and her assistant were great. They made my son Arthur very comfortable for the appointment, which made things way easier than with other paediatricians who've seen him in the past. Communication was great and a follow-up call the next morning gave us parents confidence on our son's treatment.
