Dr. Huguette M. Disasi obtained her bachelor’s degree from Howard University in Biological sciences. She continued on to Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem to earn her Masters in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Disasi completed her medical education at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and obtained her degree in 2017. Following her graduation, Dr. Disasi travelled to the Democratic Republic of the Congo to work at the University of Lubumbashi Hospital Congo. While there she collaborated with foreign physicians who shared the same goal of establishing the region’s first trauma center.
Dr. Disasi completed her surgical training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center. While there she was appointed as the Chief Resident. In March 2020, Dr. Disasi served as a frontline medical worker and was deployed to the ICU, emergency department tents, and inpatient floors in the early days of the COVID-19 outbreak in Brooklyn NYC. She is currently an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the International Foot and Ankle Association.
Dr. Disasi’s philosophy towards patient care is centered around compassion and individualized care. Having trained in Brooklyn NY amongst a diverse patient population, it is her belief that rendering care specific to a patient’s needs while keeping them actively involved has a positive impact on the efficacy of the treatment and outcome.
In her free time, Dr. Disasi enjoys an active personal life that includes traveling, recreational running, hiking, tennis, and trap aerobics as well as spending time with family and friends

Dr. Disasi was very friendly and professional. She listened and took the time to show and explain my condition, the course of treatment, why it was recommended, and home care. She answered my questions and was patient. Other office staff and professionals were also friendly and helpful. This office even validates parking - a nice surprise! I’d return and recommend this practice without question.
