About Dr. David Vieweger
Dr. Vieweger completed his foot and ankle surgical residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center where he received extensive training in elective surgery, trauma, diabetic limb salvage and reconstructive surgery. He specializes in helping patients achieve optimal foot health through conservative and surgical methods. He earned his medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated as valedictorian.
Dr. Vieweger is an Associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. He is on the medical staff at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Sibley Memorial Hospital, George Washington University Hospital, and Massachusetts Avenue Surgery Center.
Dr. Vieweger is originally from Stafford, Virginia. He is an avid runner and enjoys competing in local races. During his leisure time, he enjoys baseball, biking, and hiking. He and his wife live in Montgomery County, Maryland, with their two children.
